Certain stages of a child’s life are unmistakable and exciting. For instance: being able to hold up their own oversized craniums on disproportionately small necks; learning to shovel food into their own mouths without any drama or silly airplane-into-the-hangar roleplaying; being able to defecate into an actual toilet and not requiring any assistance with the wiping.
